WHITE PLAINS, NY – May 17, 2017
Rhino Rugby, internationally known manufacturer of team wear, rugby balls and training equipment, has been named the official supplier of the prestigious Can-Am Rugby Tournament at Saranac Lake, New York.
The Can-Am is the largest North American gathering of rugby clubs from the USA and Canada who meet annually in scenic Saranac Lake each summer (July 28 to July 31) for a two-day festival of fifteen’s rugby and fun. Over one hundred teams play in nine divisions.
The Can-Am will mark its 44th anniversary in 2017, making it the second oldest continual rugby tournament in the USA. The New York 7s is the oldest, dating back to 1959. More than three-thousand fans will converge in Saranac Lake for this summer rugby festival.
Rhino Rugby will provide the balls, and all the apparel for tournament officials, staff, and the event volunteers. Rhino has a successful American presence, serving as the current apparel supplier for the USA Sevens tournament in Las Vegas, and the College Rugby Sevens Championship in Philadelphia. Both are broadcast by NBC Sports.
Rhino will be offering exciting team kit specials to the participating Can-Am squads. Rhino’s custom designed sublimated jerseys have set a new, high standard of quality, toughness, and attractiveness. For purchasing and design information, go to www.rhinorugby.com.
